MSA-Auer, Germany make Chemical Protective/gas Tight suit (CPS) model “Vautex Elite S Dual” with Dual system.
Single piece body chemical protective suit with gas tightly attached and replaceable boots and glove system. The suit material is composed of:
Outside elastomer surface
Multilayer film laminate
Elastomer intermediate layer
Polyamide carrier fabric
Inside butyl surface
The Vautex Elite S Dual offers reliable protection against gases and vapours, solid and liquid chemicals as well as radioactive contamination.
This suit version combines the benefits of an applied compressed air line system with those of a selfcontained breathing apparatus. The Dualsystem is capable of switchingfrom a breathing apparatus to a compressed air line system and back again. It consists of an Automatic Switch Valve [ASV] and an air distributor inside the suit. This sophisticated system ensures mobility, extended service time, comfort and enhanced safety when the air line system fails.
