When head protection is desired but not required, Bump Caps reduce exposure to lacerations and abrasions caused by minor bumps to the head. Bump Caps are appropriate ONLY for work situations which do not require ANSI/EN compliant head protection. Durable, molded from high-density polyethylene.

Note: They are not alternatives for Industrial Safety helmets/Hard hats as their protection level is very limited. Bump caps are used where there is a possibility of scraping or bumping one’s head on equipment or structure projections, but are not sufficient to absorb large impacts, such as that from a tool dropped from several stories.
